The Texas Running Center,P-mgmt-T, Inc. (USATF Club # 26-0195), was founded by Joe Boyle, former distance runner who was inducted into the Harding University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1992. As a collegiate All American his mile and meet record at the Kentucky Relays stood for over 15 years. Other highlights include the 1968 Olympic Trials marathon and the 1970 Junior Olympic National Steeplechase victory. In 1987, as a Master Age group runner, Joe won the Texas Master 1500 Championship, the TAC Gulf Coast Master 1500 Championship, The Texas Southwest Masters Track and Field 1500 Championship and in 1991 competed in the Master Elite 5Th Avenue Mile in New York. In 2009, as a Senior Age group runner, Joe won the Southwest Region Championship in the 200 and 800 and finished in 6Th place at the Huntsman World Games in the 200 and 800. Joe has a Masters degree with coaching stints at the United States Military Academy, West Point and while there wrote and implemented the Run For Life Program for the Department of Defense. Several of the athletes he coached became All Americans. Prior to coaching at the collegiate level Joe's High School coaching produced numerous champions and championships, including the Eastern States 4 x Mile Relay High School Championship.
Mike Fussell, RRT, former University of Georgia track and field All American and Hall of Fame distance runner adds his expertise to the Texas Running Center. At the age of 54 Mike (photo above on medal stand) won the Huntsman World Senior Games 3000 meters and 5000 meters championships in 2012. A registerd respiratory therapist, has a distinguished medical background and heads up the VO2 testing division of P-mgmt-T, Inc. and the Texas Running Center. The Texas Running Center is organized for the purpose of promoting the "Running Lifestyle." We will strive to become a great resource anyone looking for a group to train with for any distance, be it 800 Meters, 1500 Meters, 5K, 10K, half-marathon, marathon or beyond. Also, you'll find club members regularly participating and competing in a broad range of regional and national events. The club organizes 10 training sessions each week, year round! The weekly events are held at:

2. James McKnight Park, Hwy 287 N. feeder road at Broad Street Exit, Mansfield,TX
3. Katherine Rose Memorial Park, 303 Walnut Creek, Mansfield, TX.
We welcome new and experienced runners of all ages and abilities. Whether you just started running or are a competitive runner, you'll be sure to enjoy involvement in our club.
The Texas Running Center organizes two Summer Racing Series:
1. The 2012 Texas Running Center Racing Series:
Location: James McKnight Park (East):
Directions:From Interstate 20: Take Hwy 287 south to Broad Street Exit. Turn left at light on Broad Street, cross bridge and turn left at light onto the Hwy 287 service road north in front of Cheveron Station. Then continue straight on service road 400 meters and turn right into James McKnight Park East.
When: Wednesday Evenings at 6:00 pm.
Dates: May 16, May 23, May 30.
Events: 3000 Meters and 1500 Meters.
Note: Age - Group Awards based on time. A true cross-country style trail run with grass, shade, hills and open space. Spectator friendly with multiple views of the entire race.
Cost: $10.00
Registration: On-site beginning at 4:45pm.
2. The University of Texas at Arlington and the Texas Running Center:
2012 "All-Comers" Track Meets.
Location: UTA Maverick Stadium.
Directions: From Interstate 20 (south of UTA):
Exit Cooper Street and head north. From Cooper Street, turn left at Mitchell Street. Follow Mitchell across the light at Davis Drive, continuing straight on Mitchell, Maverick Stadium will be on your right side.
When: Wednesday Evenings from 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Dates: June 6, June 13, June 20, July 11, July 18, July 25
Events: (Running events start at 4:00pm)
100 Meters
800 Meters
400 Meters
1500 or Mile Run (alternating meets)
200 Meters
3000 Meters
4 x 400 Relay
* Other events by request
Entry Fee: $10.00 per person (unlimited events)
Registration: On-site race day at entry to UTA track.
Who: These meets are for everyone (ages 5 - 80+), Olympic Champions and World record holders to people who have never participated in a meet.
Schedule: This is a rolling schedule.
Note: Occasionally special events will be run at a specific time. All events are heated faster sections first, followed by slower sections. (Women first followed by men).
Track Facility: University of Texas at Arlington all weather track.

Note: We will run a 4 x 100 relay at 4:00 pm if teams desire. Please let meet organizers know by 3:30 pm.
Event Heating: All events will be heated at the event's starting line. If anyone is not there after the event has been heated you may not get a lane in the heat you wish.
Parking:Parking is available in the Maverick Stadium parking lot.
Results: Results will be posted as soon as possible after the completion of each meet on www.clinesrunningcorner.com and www.texasrunningcenter.com

Note: These meets have two purposes: One is to provide all those interested in track a fun safe place to compete and the other is to allow for all competitors to post their fastest marks.
